We’ve been featured in the Italian publication Villegiardini, where we’re excited to unveil our latest project: Land of Aiko. This luxurious and elegant villa harmoniously blends with its natural surroundings. Situated on a slope, it offers stunning views of San Francisco Bay, the Kent-Woodlands valley, and surrounding greenery. The design of the house draws inspiration from the owner’s time in Japan and the Colorado mountains where she was born.
The extensive renovation was led by SWATT + PARTNERS studio, with architect Robert Swatt overseeing the project. The goal was to enhance the connection with nature and to create a space that fosters cultural sharing and family bonding. Influences from the American Midwest, East Asia, and Southeast Asia, combined with 20th-century modern architectural elements, are evident throughout the design.
