The Kasten Builders team is pleased to share the news that one of their recent remodels, the Two Way House, has won an award from the American Institute of Architects.

“We are excited to announce that last night The Two Way house received a Merit Design Award from the East Bay AIA. This is quite an honor as the competition was tough.
Pauline and Dominic, I cannot thank you enough for inviting us to join you on this incredible journey. It is a long journey and with you, quality design was always the ultimate goal and is why we are now honored with this award.
Thanks to all who played a part: my in-house dedicated design team, Kevin following through on all the particular structural details required, Glen’s framing with attention to all the alignments, Kieran’s dedication to getting each detail perfect, Eric’s great cabinets and wood railings, David’s simple and elegant garden and Jasper’s amazing photography.
